MAXUS Medical Co., Ltd. Founded in 2005, it officially became a subsidiary of ICARES Medicus, Inc. an OTC listed company in Taiwan in 2019. Mainly engaged in research, development, production and sales of high-end ophthalmic medical devices in China.

  Based in Zhangjiang, Shanghai, we started by focusing on cataract surgery, engaging in the research, development, and production of intraocular lenses and injectors, and promoting the application of medical coatings. After several years of precipitation and accumulation, in 2023, our coating services obtained the ISO 13485 certification. In 2024, our self-developed "Asqelio" intraocular lens and "lioli" intraocular lens injector were successively approved for market launch, marking a significant step forward in local production and sales. In the same year, in response to the increasing demand for various business , we established a second factory in Pujiang, achieving a substantial increase in production capacity and value.

  Over the years, we have kept our original aspirations. Under the leadership of a highly-motivated management team, we have forged ahead hand in hand. In the area of intraocular lenses, we have established a precision manufacturing method using low-temperature lathing process technology. We meet the high-quality control requirements of implantable medical materials through nearly stringent inspections. Our high-standard clean workshops are equipped with high-precision processing and production equipment to meet the market demands for multiple specifications and dioptric powers. After passing the strict quality system assessment of the regulatory authorities, our monofocal aspheric pre-loaded intraocular lenses have obtained the product registration certificate (Approved by NMPA, 20243161602).

  We are not only experts in intraocular lenses, but also proficient in the design, development, and optimization of injectors. Our R&D capabilities have been recognized by patents. In the production process, the main core technologies and key assemblies are completed in - house. We use automated production equipment to improve the yield rate and monitor production and quality in accordance with the GB/T 42061 quality management system. In response to the characteristics of the medical device industry, we demonstrate factory management with product traceability. In addition to obtaining market approval for our injectors (Approved by Shanghai Medical Products Administration, 20242160032), we also meet the production license requirements of market supervision.

   In addition to our own products, we also transfer the surface coating technology of AST Products, Inc., a US subsidiary of our group. With over 30 years of professional coating technology accumulation, ASTP's coating business holds a global market share of over 55%. Starting from the application of coating on the injection cartridge of the intraocular lens, MAXUS Medical has successfully completed the technology transfer of multiple lubricating coatings. Having passed the ISO 13485 quality production system certification, we can provide customers with customized coating verification, coating process development, and OEM services.
